Netsa is the latest album from Ethiopian virtuoso Minyeshu and sees its release on August 26th, 2022.

As you are probably aware, ARC Music has undergone a number of key changes in the last few years. The label was acquired by Naxos in 2019 to join forces with a strong distribution network and explore further opportunities. In the same year and shortly after I had my 3rd child, I also made the decision to take a step back to allow for more time for my family. At this time Chris Tomsett was made the CEO of ARC and with the support of Naxos and new management, I am happy to say that the label has continued to do well and is in a stable and expanding position.
Khiyo is a London-based, British-Bangladeshi group formed in 2007. Bassist Ben Heartland joins the co-founders, singer Sohini Alam and multi-instrumentalist Oliver Weeks, as the nucleus of this innovative and inventive ensemble.
For Bondona, they and their collective sound are enhanced by the welcome addition of Hassan ‘Moyo’ Mohyeddin on tabla, David Ingamells on drums and Flora Curzon on violin. This growth could be seen as apt development, for evolution is a theme at the very core of Khiyo’s musical ethos. While the band’s roots are deeply interred in Bengali culture and traditions, considering the group’s diverse makeup, it seems natural that they display a bold infusion of influences in their work.

Just three years later, he discovered what would become one of the defining influences of his successful career – flamenco music. Over the following years, Monteverde’s considerable natural talent was enhanced through committed practice. Yet what maybe makes Ignacio such a unique artist is his exploration of, dedication to, and unbridled passion for the musical world. Indeed, the world at large has had an impact on Monteverde.
Iberi is a male-voice choir led by former rugby player and life-long singer Buba Murgulia. Like most young Georgians, Buba grew up surrounded by singing. “Music is everywhere here”, he explains. Long inspired by his homeland’s rich and diverse musical heritage, in 2012, Buba brought together the men that would form ‘Iberi.’ More than just an exciting and entertaining stage act, the group have become fast friends. Through their harmonious voices and joyful and exuberant performances, one can quickly feel a strong sense of unity and camaraderie.
