MEXICO - The Best Boleros from the Costa Chica

The bolero, Latin America’s irrepressible love song, is reborn in an isolated part of Mexico, inland from the Pacific Coast. Guitar bands are taking the country by storm with boleros that come from the Mestizo, Indian and Afro-Mexican traditions, all of them inspired by the late great Álvaro Carrillo, the world-famous composer who came from the Costa Chica.
