Dear reader,
As you are probably aware, ARC Music has undergone a number of key changes in the last few years. The label was acquired by Naxos in 2019 to join forces with a strong distribution network and explore further opportunities. In the same year and shortly after I had my 3rd child, I also made the decision to take a step back to allow for more time for my family. At this time Chris Tomsett was made the CEO of ARC and with the support of Naxos and new management, I am happy to say that the label has continued to do well and is in a stable and expanding position.
I feel that the label has now started a new chapter and due to various circumstances as well as plans to eventually migrate to the USA to be closer to the remainder of my family, I will be starting a new chapter of my own and am writing to let you know that my employment at ARC Music will be ending at the end of July 2022.
I will continue to stay connected with the label on a consultancy basis, and can be contacted on this email: worldmusicconsultant@gmail.com
Going forward, the label’s A&R function will be held by CEO Chris Tomsett and I am sure he will continue to keep the spirit and ethos of ARC Music alive through new and exciting releases.
I have loved every second working here with the staff, and especially getting to know and work with amazing artists and industry professionals. It has and will continue to mean so much to me. Everyone at the label has been like a family to me for over 13 years and I will miss it very much.
I am very proud of how far this label has come throughout my time working here, nurturing and growing the catalogue as well as making so many great friends. I am especially proud of our artists, what they have accomplished, and encourage them and all musicians to continue no matter what.
With love,
Julia
